About the artwork
Painting - Oil on canvas
The scene is one of the rehabilitation of an orang-utan female in the sanctuary park of Tanjung Putting in Borneo. The orang-utan collects fruits directly from the trees rather than from the feeding platforms. This is a sign that she is returning back to nature and the rehabilitation will be successful. This is also a message of hope against palm oil plantations and their industry as well as humans using it.
Sailev donates part of the sales of his artworks to NGOs in connection with the theme of the artwork.
